On August 28th, 2016 The S.O.S. Club of Georgia initiated their program Daffy’s P.A.S.T. to collect and transport over $20,000 worth of product to assist with the victims of the Louisiana Flood.
After traveling for several hours, a tire on the supplies trailer blew out. The team was temporarily left stranded until the trailer could be repaired.
Although it was a not what they expected, the team overcame the challenge and still made it to Louisiana to deliver the supplies.
The first stop for Daffy’s P.A.S.T. was at the Lamar Dixon Parish. The Location included lost pets, people with injured pets, horses, pigs, goats, ponies, and a variety of other wildlife. Half of the products from the Daffy’s was donated to this district.
The rest of the supplies was taken over by Melissa Seal and distributed around other sites in need for animals.
After 2 days of assisting at the Lamar Dixon Parish, Daffy’s P.A.S.T. packed up and moved over to the Florida Parish to assist with setting up runs and fans for shelter dogs.
